Kicks

I have been feeling flutters for the past 4 weeks now and kicks just this last week. Last night Brent felt a kick for the first time. He seemed pretty stoked by it.

Its a BOY!!!

We found out on Monday that we are having a BOY!! We are just beyond thrilled. I went to my regular dr appt yesterday and found out that the ultrasound showed he is growing perfectly and all looks good. Now for the baby buying to begin. :)

We are supposed to be in the Keys today

Brent and I were supposed to leave on a family trip to Key Largo this morning. Unfortunately, since its only been 3 weeks since Brent's heart attack, the doctor said absolutely no flying this early on. Of course we were a little bummed but what are you going to do right? There will be other trips soon enough. :)

Trying hard to keep up with my blog

I am going to try really hard to start keeping up with our blog. Lots has been going on for us in the last 2 months. Work, the house, Brent's heart attack, my pregnancy, etc etc. So I will do my best to keep up with it.

This is all new to me.

I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog, so Brent and I can keep everyone updated on how we are doing. Don't get me wrong, Facebook works great but some of the parents, aunts, uncles & cousins do not use that kind of stuff.
